Hi, my name is Lois Lange and I would like to introduce myself as your AlphaNet Coordinator.
I live in Boise, Idaho. As an Alpha-1 patient myself, I am aware of the problems that arise because of this condition. To be able to provide education and support is an important goal for me. I was diagnosed in 2006 and began augmentation therapy in 2010. My husband, Jerry, was diagnosed in 2003. He immediately went on oxygen 24/7, as well as augmentation therapy. Jerry being diagnosed in 2003 made it much easier for me, as I was already getting acquainted with the Alpha world.
I am very excited to be a part of the AlphaNet family. I love to talk with other Alphas and hopefully, I can give back to them as much as I have received. Together, there is nothing that we can’t achieve. United we stand strong in the fight against Alpha-1.
