It is with deep sadness that we share the news that AlphaNet Coordinator Lisa Riddle passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lisa worked as an AlphaNet Coordinator for over 12 years and brought warmth, positivity, and laughter to the role.

“Lisa was a fierce advocate for her AlphaNet subscribers. She had a very caring heart and deep understanding of what challenges Alphas might encounter. She was a strong team member and great resource in training others on new systems. Lisa was passionate about how crucial AlphaNet services were in helping subscribers. She had a beautiful smile and laugh she shared with everyone. We all miss her tremendously,” AlphaNet Zemaira Program Manager Peg Iverson said.

Lisa was diagnosed with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (Alpha-1) in July 1998 at the age of 31. Prior to her diagnosis, Lisa struggled to find the cause of her ongoing lung issues and saw three pulmonologists before finally seeking help from an asthma and allergy specialist who diagnosed her with Alpha-1. After her diagnosis, Lisa made it her mission to learn as much about Alpha-1 as she could. In her search, she found AlphaNet and connected with former AlphaNet Zemaira Program Manager Barb Pusey.

In 2015, Lisa received a double lung transplant. She endured months of intensive rehabilitation post-transplant after experiencing significant complications and, throughout it all, maintained a positive outlook.

“Lisa had such a magnetic personality and a heart of gold. Her positivity and joy were infectious. We will miss her dearly,” AlphaNet Senior Medical Director Robert Sandhaus said.

Lisa loved to cook and experiment with new recipes. She also enjoyed camping and fishing, and was a self-proclaimed “makeup addict.” Lisa is survived by her husband Eric Riddle, daughters Tiffany and Brittany, and grandchildren Caden, Madison, Carlie, Nora, and Owen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For more information: https://www.funeralok.com/obituaries/Lisa-Ann-Riddle?obId=46223606.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Lisa’s memory to the Alpha-1 Foundation.
