AlphaNet Coordinators

One of the best examples of the slogan “Alphas serving Alphas” is the AlphaNet Coordinator. Each AlphaNet Coordinator is a person with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency and thus able to uniquely understand the issues and concerns of other persons living with Alpha-1. AlphaNet Coordinators are spread across the United States and subscribers to AlphaNet are assigned to a specific AlphaNet Coordinator based upon geographical location.

Each AlphaNet subscriber is contacted at least monthly by his or her AlphaNet Coordinator. The AlphaNet Coordinator provides support, education and assistance with augmentation therapy infusion issues and supplies. In addition, the AlphaNet Coordinator is the heart of AlphaNet’s Disease Management and Prevention Program (ADMAPP). During their monthly telephone contacts, the AlphaNet Coordinator works with each of their Alphas to educate and assist them with collaborative self-management strategies based upon expert references such as AlphaNet’s “Big Fat Reference Guide.” AlphaNet Coordinators also play a key role in many of the research initiatives in which AlphaNet participates.

The Contact Info page gives you specific contact information for each AlphaNet Coordinator.

To find the AlphaNet Coordinator near you or to view them by geographical location refer to the Selection Map page.
